Transcription Technology Startup Trint Secures $3.1 Million

Trint just closed $3.1 million in seed financing. Two investors contributed to the round, among them Horizons Ventures.

Trint seeks to transform transcription with an end-to-end platform that allows users to search, edit, and manipulate their audio and video content. The company’s technology synchronizes users’ audio and video to Trint’s computer-generated transcripts. To search, verify or correct the transcripts, users simply click “play” wherever they position the cursor.

In its announcement, the company said the new capital will be used to support the development of technology to transform Trint into an end-to-end publishing platform.
