Placed announced today that it has been acquired by Snap, Inc., Silicon Valley’s red hot social media unicorn, which went public in March, 2017. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in January 2011, Placed is headquartered in Seattle and has previously raised more than $13 million from such investors as Madrona Venture Group and Two Sigma Ventures.
