Internet & IoT Startup Petasense Secures $1.8 Million

Petasense announced it has raised $1.8 million in seed financing. True Ventures and Felicis Ventures participated in the round.

Petasense is an industrial IoT startup based in Silicon Valley that was founded with a vision of making industrial machines smarter. The company offers an end-to-end solution consisting of a patent-pending wireless vibration sensor, cloud software, and machine learning analytics that help with asset reliability and predictive maintenance.

The company revealed that it emerged from stealth mode concurrent with the funding announcement.
