Green Chef Closes $67 Million

Meal kits startup Green Chef completed $67 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Founded in 2014, Green Chef is a USDA-certified organic meal kit company. It currently has offices in three states and delivers meal kits across the country, sending seasonal organic ingredients and chef-crafted recipes to customers’ doorsteps. All of Green Chef’s packaging is 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable, and the company actively offsets its emissions.

According to the company, while Green Chef may raise additional funds for future expansion, it may also look to be acquired.
