Internet & IoT startup Catalant announced it has raised $41 million in Series D financing. Eight investors participated in the round, among them Highland Capital Partners, General Catalyst Partners, Greylock Partners, and GE Ventures.
Catalant, formerly HourlyNerd, provides global enterprises with software solutions to access business expertise on demand. The company’s human capital solution matches top business expertise with enterprises to address needs efficiently and in real time. Catalant has built a global network of more than 30,000 boutique firms, custom teams, and independent experts, as well as best-in-class software tools for engaging and managing human capital resources. Based in Boston, MA, Catalant serves thousands of clients, including more than 10 percent of Fortune 1000 companies.
In its announcement, the company said the funding will be used for further development of Catalant’s software products and matching capabilities, as well as to educate corporate decision makers on how best to incorporate dynamic talent into their strategic plans.
