IoT startup Aira completed $12 million in Series B financing. Six investors participated in the round, among them JAZZ Venture Partners, Arboretum Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, and Felicis Ventures.
The company has built a service that leverages the convergence of technologies like miniaturized sensors, wearables, widespread bandwidth and human-assisted AI to power an intelligent Aira platform that provides greater mobility and autonomy for the blind and visually impaired.
According to the company, the Series B funding will enable Aira to expand its service offerings to serve a greater number of BVI individuals.
