Fintech Startup Wave Accounting Raises $24 Million to Provide Small Businesses with Accounting Software

Wave Accounting announced it has raised $24 million in financing. Eight investors participated in the round: NAB Ventures, RBC Bank, CRV, Social Capital, BDC Venture Capital, OMERS Ventures, HarbourVest Partners, and OurCrowd.

Wave aims to make running small businesses easier by providing free accounting and invoicing and affordable credit card payment processing and payroll solutions. More than two million small business owners in more than 200 countries around the world rely on WaveApps to run their business.

According to the company, this funding will help Wave accelerate the development of integrated financial solutions within its core platform.
