Who would have thought that Slurpees® could be delivered? In an unlikely tech first, 7-Eleven announced that it had partnered with drone company Flirtey to make the first consumer drone delivery. What was the drone carrying? Slurpees®, donuts and coffee in special temperature-preserving containers. Imagine: With almost 60,000 locations worldwide, that’s potentially an awful lot of Big Gulps and donuts flying over neighborhoods.
