Gemio Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Mood Wristband

Gemio is the latest wearable tech startup for hipster techies. The company has created a glowing wristband that uses light, motion, sound and proximity to indicate mood or state of mind. It allows users to customize colors, lights and patterns and to communicate with friends using “Light Signals” that can be assigned to friends or groups who frequent particular venues. The Kickstarter pre-order campaign aims to raise $50,000 by August 19, 2016.
