Scott Thompson Joins Payment Rails as Investor and Board Advisor

Payment Rails, a Canadian API-first payouts platform for businesses, announced that Scott Thompson, the former president of PayPal, has the joined the company as a board advisor.

Thompson is currently the CEO of Tuition.io, a comprehensive employer-funded student loan contribution platform in the U.S.  Prior to Tuition.io, Thompson served as CEO of ShopRunner and CEO of Yahoo. Before that, he was president of PayPal during its most rapid growth period. During his tenure, he oversaw revenue growth from $1 billion to $4.4 billion and established PayPal as the leading global online payment service.
