FogHorn Systems announced it has secured $30 million in Series B financing led by Intel Capital and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures. Honeywell Venture Capital, March Capital Partners, GE Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, Robert Bosch Venture Capital, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Darling Ventures, and The Hive also participated.

FogHorn is a multi-tier IoT application deployment platform that bridges backend information technology with operational technology onsite through a platform-as-a-service experience. FogHorn embraces Fog computing to deliver, embed and host applications in edge compute nodes inserted in a sensor network. It supports Fog infrastructure from such industry leaders as Cisco and Intel.

The company revealed that the new funds will be used to expand FogHorn’s engineering resources and global market presence.
