Skincare brand Silk Therapeutics closed $11 million in Series A financing led by The Kraft Group. Lear Corporation and Altman Health Investments also participated in the funding.

Silk Therapeutics, Inc., develops, manufactures and sells skincare products based on silk materials. It offers PureProC, a film formulation that, according to the company, surrounds, protects, stabilizes, and delivers the benefits of vitamin C for extended duration with anti-aging and skin health benefits. The company sells products through its online store. Its founders are pioneers in silk science to improve human health. CEO Dr. Greg Altman and COO Dr. Rebecca Horan have worked together for more than 15 years developing silk-based applications and are now applying them to skincare.
