New Product Alert: Zipped

Zipped is an iPhone and iPad product that aims to work as a “Swiss army knife” for zip files on iOS. Maker Eytan Schulman, an Apple developer, built Zipped to end people’s frustration with handling ZIP files on iOS. In addition to allowing people to “unzip” files, Zipped lets users create ZIP files via drag and drop from anywhere in the iOS  system.

Zipped supports a variety of file types, including zip, .png, .jpg, .html, .pages, .docx, .pdf, .numbers, .xlsx, .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .mp4, .mov, .aiff, .mp3, .wav, .psd, .caf, .md, .csv, .json, .js, with more to come.
