Enterprise IT Startup NS1 Secures $20 Million

NS1 announced the close of $20 million in financing. GGV Capital led the round, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Deutsche Telekom AG, Flybridge Capital Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, Telstra, and Two Sigma Ventures.

NS1’s intelligent DNS and traffic management platform, which features data driven architecture and a unique filter chain routing engine, is purpose-built for the most demanding, mission-critical applications on the Internet. Its comprehensive platform technology leverages infrastructure, application, and network data to make intelligent routing decisions in real time, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability.

In its announcement, the company said NS1 will use the financing to “help additional online brands take control over their traffic and infrastructure to build reliable, high performance applications.”
