Anonyome Labs announced it has raised $20.4 million in Series B financing. Five investors participated in the round, among them Crosspoint Venture Partners.

Anonyome Labs was created with the goal of giving people control over their personal and private information while providing protection and safety in the digital world. The company has created SudoApp and SudoPay to help put safety and privacy back in the hands of users. Using complete anonymity and advanced encryption, SudoApp was designed for use by everyday consumers for every part of their online worlds. The result is a platform that gives anyone the power to create a proxy – or avatar – for his or her identity that can be used in both the online and offline world to safeguard data, while ensuring the safety and security of personal identity and online activity.

In its announcement, the company said the new investment will help Anonyome expand development and support growth for its family of apps.
