HireArt Secures $5.3 Million

Job marketplace startup HireArt announced the completion of $5.3 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

HireArt improves the job candidate pre-screening process by creating online interviews that simulate real jobs. Candidates are asked to complete tasks that are similar to those they would encounter on the job, such as giving presentations, carrying out an Excel analysis, or giving feedback. They record their responses over video or submit text answers and attachments, offering employers higher quality information on which to base hiring decisions.
