Big Squid Raises $6 Million

Enterprise IT startup Big Squid announced the close of $6 million in Series A financing. Three investors participated in the round: Signal Peak Ventures, Silverton Partners, and Kickstart Seed Fund.

Big Squid is a software company that specializes in data solutions using business intelligence, data sciences and predictive analytics. The company aims to bring discipline and experience to enterprise initiatives through in-depth consulting. It then uses data visualizations to prescribe action to lead to desired business outcomes.

In its announcement, Big Squid said the company intends to use the capital to continue development and adoption of its proprietary software platform.
