AMP Americas Raises $20 Million

Alternative energy startup AMP Americas announced the completion of $20 million in financing from private-equity fund EIV Capital.

AMP Americas aims to lead the transition to compressed natural gas (CNG) as a transportation fuel in the commercial trucking industry. The company helps heavy-duty trucking fleets transition to cost-effective, clean, American natural gas. AMP Americas currently owns and operates 19 public access, ultra fast-fill, CNG fueling stations around the country and is expanding its fast-growing network to support the most dense transportation corridors in the U.S. The company also sells fuel and source renewable natural gas from waste products.
