Storage Startup Wasabi Technologies Raises $10.8 Million

Wasabi Technologies announced it has raised $10.8 million in Series B financing from an undisclosed investor.

Wasabi’s mission is to transform cloud storage with the industry’s simplest, fastest, and most affordable storage solution. Unlike legacy cloud storage services, with confusing storage tiers and complex pricing schemes, Wasabi storage is inherently easy-to-implement and cost-effective to scale.

Wasabi’s co-founders, Jeff Flowers and David Friend, have a long and successful history as partners in building technology companies. Perhaps best known for co-founding Carbonite, one of the world’s leading cloud storage companies, Jeff and David have been innovators in storage for more than three decades. It was their shared vision for a next-generation cloud storage architecture that gave birth to Wasabi.
