Agriculture technology startup Conservis announced it has raised $9.5 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Conservis provides farm management software to help farmers get visibility into their operations from the ground up, from tracking field activities to managing inventories and analyzing yields. The company is also developing and implementing a suite of compliance, tracking, traceability, and performance management tools.

Conservis was founded in 2009, when four farmers asked founders Patrick Christie and Eric Jackson for help with workflow management. Today, the Conservis system is used by many successful agricultural producers to make informed business decisions and manage more than $8 billion in land, equipment, and crop assets at all stages of production to improve bottom-line performance.
