Fiverr Acquires Veed.me for Undisclosed Sum

Fiverr, the world’s largest freelance services marketplace, announced today that it has acquired Veed.me. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Veed.me is a video creation marketplace that connects small businesses and startups with talented videographers. The startup is taking an approach to video similar to what oDesk or 99designs does for content producers and designers.

With the acquisition of Veed.me, Fiverr is deepening its capabilities in video, particularly the ability to connect buyers to videographers for local gigs.
