Well, 23andMe may now have a little more data on just why that is. In a joint study conducted by the genetics testing company, Massachusetts General Hospital and pharmaceutical company Pfizer, researchers identified 32 genetic factors and 15 regions of the human genome responsible for the development of severe depression.
